After spending three years in warehousing and four years in retail management, I decided to make the move into recruitment. It felt like a natural next step, combining my experience in operations, leadership, and working with people, while giving me the opportunity to learn about a wide range of industries and how they operate. No two days are the same, and that’s what I enjoy most about the role.

When I’m not busy with work...

You’ll usually find me spending time with friends and family. Whether it’s watching the footy, playing a round of golf, tennis, bowling, or darts, or simply catching up over a drink on the weekend, I enjoy making the most of my downtime with the people closest to me.

What do you love about working in the recruitment industry?

I love the variety that comes with recruitment. While the process itself might seem straightforward, every client, workplace, and candidate is different. Working across a range of industries and meeting people from diverse backgrounds means every week brings a new challenge and a new opportunity to find the right solution.

Any success stories from your time in the industry?

Although I’m still relatively new to recruitment, one of the most rewarding parts of the job has been placing candidates into roles that genuinely suit their skills and experience. Hearing back from them that they’re enjoying their new workplace and thriving in their role makes the work incredibly worthwhile.
